Hello Kardon-Northeast Branch!

Hopefully your summer was relaxing, joyful, and that it allowed you to recharge your energy for the upcoming school year! The 2023-2024 year at the Kardon-Northeast Branch is looking brighter than ever, with studios ready to be full of children and adults excited to learn their instruments, join in on classes, and share what they have learned with their teachers, families, and the entire school community.

We have a new Dance Instructor, Brittany Johnson, who is poised to continue the excellent work that Olga Blumenkrants and Erin Ruggiero started, and she will add her own personal touch to KNE’s thriving dance program!

Also, 2024 is the 50^th Anniversary of the Kardon-Northeast Branch; we will be celebrating all year long and I would love to hear from you if you have ideas that will help us celebrate!

We are excited to bring the excellence of our world class faculty to students of all ages in the Northeast, furthering Settlement Music School’s reach in Northeast Philadelphia and beyond. I hope to see you soon in our auditorium for a performance, in addition to seeing you around the building as you come in for lessons. We look forward to making this a spectacular and memorable year of music, dance and arts therapy at the Kardon-Northeast Branch!

Curtis Symphony Orchestra: Spectacular Strauss
