Dear Elizabeth,
As we gear up for the sunshine-filled days of summer, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate some remarkable achievements and events within our vibrant Clubs.
Firstly, a heartfelt congratulations to our graduating seniors! This year, our Destinations Program had the largest group of seniors yet. Watching these young individuals grow up within our Club walls and witnessing their incredible accomplishments fills us with immense pride. We are humbled to have been a part of their journeys.
I also want to share our organization's gratitude for our generous donors who have supported us at our recent special events. Your dedication to fostering bright futures for our Club kids is truly inspiring, and we cannot thank you enough.
Our Clubs in Sebastian, Fellsmere, and Vero Beach are bustling with excitement ready to welcome summer with open arms. From arts and crafts to sports and life skills, our summer program promises 10 weeks of fun-filled activities for kids aged 6 to 18. It's a season dedicated to growth, learning, and unforgettable memories.
As we look ahead, I'm thrilled to announce that next year marks our 25th anniversary as an organization. Together, we'll celebrate a quarter-century of impacting lives and shaping futures.

Since 1947, Youth of the Year has been Boys & Girls Clubs of Americaβs premier recognition program, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Club members. The journey starts locally with the opportunity to progress to county, state, regional and national.
Let's give it up for Angela, a Fellsmere Club member for 11 years, for earning the title of Indian River County's Youth of the Year! Congrats, Angela!

π Athletics Update! π
Our Club's sports scene is on fire! Highlights include a thrilling Teens vs. Alumni Basketball Game, medals for our IRSA Soccer stars, and unforgettable outings to Orlando City Soccer and Orlando Magic Basketball games. Girls on the Run rocked the run, and you can catch the action in our video right here!
As summer approaches, our kids are pumped for soccer, basketball, whiffle ball, volleyball, swimming, and e-sportsβget ready for a summer packed with sports and excitement!

Club 105: π Kudos to our dedicated Club kids who attended the Club for 105 days or more! You doubled your chances of high school graduation and that is why we threw you a big party last week! We are so proud of you!
Destinations: π This year, we had the largest number of seniors graduating from our Destinations program, and we couldn't be prouder!π
To our seniors moving into this next phase of life, we encourage you to remember what youβve learned at BGC. Be bold. Try new things. Treat everyone you meet with compassion. Make a positive impact on the world around you, one small step at a time.

π Big congratulations to Alyric, Jaquan, Kevin, and Jasmine on their incredible achievement of earning their Associate in Arts Degrees from Indian River State College! What's even more impressive? Jasmine and Kevin just graduated high school this week, already with a degree under their belts β talk about dedication! Jaquan and Alyric are both Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni and continue to inspire us! And ALL four are current staff members here at BGCIRC!! We couldn't be prouder of these amazing individuals and their commitment to education and personal growth!
π And let's give it up for Rozie who placed nationally among thousands of submissions winning second place in the National Fine Arts Competition with her inspiring poem, "Perfect". Rozie is wise beyond her years and we cannot wait to see what she creates in the future.
Join us in giving a huge round of applause to these talented individuals for their well-deserved achievements. When we say "Great Futures Start Here," we mean it!

We kicked off the year with a heartwarming Friend-Raiser welcoming new friends to our Club family. At our annual Angels Dinner, we honored our supporters while showcasing our talented kids' artwork, painting a brighter future together. It was a record-breaking night of generosity! And let's not forget our Bridge Tournament, which brought everyone together "dealing in" for a worthy cause.
These events have not only brought us closer as a community but have also provided vital support for our after-school and summer programs. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our members!

Our Alumni Association has been making waves with exciting events and heartfelt support for our Clubs! In their inaugural March Madness Basketball Tournament, Alumni and Teens battled it out in a thrilling showdown, with the Teens securing a nail-biting victory by just ONE point! It was a testament to perseverance and a showcase of determination. A huge shoutout to our dedicated Alumni Association for organizing such an electrifying eventβwe can't wait for the next one!
Additionally, our Alumni stepped up to help host and run our Graduation Luncheon, honoring our amazing Seniors. Their ongoing dedication and support mean the world to us. Here's to our incredible Alumni and the bright future they continue to help us build!
