What's Happening at CUNY

image

In 2022, CUNY celebrated its past and looked to the future. We marked our University’s 175th anniversary as we set the stage for a new era. Take a look back at our most memorable moments from the past 12 months.

Pitch your idea for a sustainable startup venture in clothing or fashion for a chance to win $1 million! Learn more about the prize here.

With its students routinely graduating into six-figure jobs, a CUNY’s unique master’s program outclasses Princeton and MIT at a fraction of the cost! Learn about how this “pipeline to Wall Street” gives students the chance to connect with the world’s most elite global trading firms.

The New York Times reports on two pilot programs that are covering the rent for homeless and housing-insecure CUNY students, allowing them to focus on their studies and stay at modern rental units at much lower costs.

Being a college student and the “good immigrant daughter” don’t often mix well, writes this student, who discusses the struggles of setting boundaries with her family.

CUNY athletes are killing it! One became the first woman in her college’s history to earn this honor. Another student’s record-breaking season secured her “All-American” status.

He’s worked with small businesses and brands, in addition to managing his own fashion and lifestyle mood board Instagram page.

Brian’s Advice: “Realize that you can learn anything from anyone, no matter who they are, where they're from or what their age is. True growth comes from learning from others and applying it to your own life.”
