A Year of Impact!

This is what move in day looks like. What does it sound like?

"I'm so excited! I wasn't sure this day would come. Please tell everyone thank you for all the help. And to visit me in my new home!"

Robert is one of 206 men to move from MCCH's Nebel Street Shelter to a home in the ONE YEAR since we have been open.

With community support, we have served 578 men, providing supportive services and connections to resources to help them stabilize and begin to move forward again. We've partnered with mutiple organizations to ensure we could meet the unique needs of each person who stepped through our door.

And while a new space has provided both opportunities and challenges, we are grateful to be able to serve an increased number of men and to continue having help from people like you!

Our Community Turns Care into Action!

We are so thankful for the MANY ways our community joins us in caring for people who have experienced homelessness.

MCCH volunteers helped 89 households through 67 food runs in a year!

Thank you Gaithersburg Help and Manna Food Center for the good food.

And an extra thank you to MCCH volunteer Peter Rowny, who created the website to keep it all organizaed!

AstraZeneca helps MCCH in many ways! This time they took the 30X30 Challenge and donated enough items for 5 Move In Kits!

The team at Arcadis also took the 30X30 Challenge. Their win helps someone moving from shetler to a home!

In addition to being the VERY FRONT LINE team for people experiencing crisis in our county, the Montgomery County Crisis Center successfully completed the 30X30 Challenge!

Kathleen and Bill Hurley are veterans at our 30X30 Challenge. They have helped multiple people restart their life with essential household items!
