*This class was previously hosted on another site, Scrapbook News & Review, and now is back in my care.  If you wondering, yes, the class is mostly the same as when hosted at SNR but I am happy to share that there are a few NEW additional things added including a project and video.

This class is a work at your own pace, in your space, online class, which means on May 1^st you can log on and you do what you want, when you want.  The class NEVER closes which means you don't have to worry and think that you have to hurry.

What does the class include?

You'll start with basic lettering: doodling up and lower case letters from your own writing that will be ready for detail, color and shadows and because you'll be learning and doodling so much, before we can move on with the class, you'll create a workbook/practice book from a regular ol' composition notebook that will be divided into sections to hold all of your art, doodles and fonts.

  

From there you'll get into adding details and dimension to your doodle art and will learn where to add additional details like borders, boxes and scallops, and how to work in shadows to give your art that extra pop! Step-by-step color photos and practice sheets will be available for download for you to just print out and practice, practice..practice.

                                                                                                                         

In the last part of the class, there are two fun projects for you to do over and over.  You'll watch a short video of me creating from start to finish on a piece I call "Home Sweet Doodled Home." Again, there will be step-by-step photos that will lead you through the entire project as well as some of my own "Funky Folk Art" doodles for you to be inspired by.

The other project is called "Just Add Color, or Not!" and will be a project that you doodle and, well..add color.  The video walks you through using a Sharpie marker on canvas and then either using markers or paint to complete it.

The classroom will open on May 1^st, 2013 at 12:00am PST.  You will get a classroom link and password at that time. All that is left to do know is register and prepare to doodle on the 1st!
