Milestone: JFS' Newest Citizen
Congratulations to Ms. S, a young woman from El Salvador who passed her citizenship test last week! Ms. S enrolled in the JFS citizenship classes to improve her English for better opportunities for herself and her daughter. Now that she is an American citizen, Ms. S would like to pursue additional teaching credentials, as she is currently a teaching assistant at a preschool.

Celebrating Valentine's Day Among Friends
Valentine's Day isn't only for lovers!
This day, like most holidays, offers an opportunity to show compassionate love and appreciation to our family, friends and community.

As one of the congregate meal programs under JFS Senior Services, Lunch With Friends celebrated Valentine's Day by engaging members in discussion of love, wisdom and friendship.

Each week, participants receive a ride via JFS transportation, enjoy a healthy, kosher meal, and socialize among friends, both new and old.

Donations made to JFS Senior Services help ensure that seniors are eating well and staying connected to promote longevity and good physical and mental health.

Your Generosity Blooms
Local fundraiser blooms all year round for JFS!

Did you know JFS Middlesex is part of Stop & Shop's Bloomin' 4 Good Program? Each month, a local Stop & Shop sells specially marked Bloomin' 4 Good bouquets to support a local organization fighting hunger.

For the month of March 2022, JFS Kosher Food Pantries have been selected to receive $1 donation for every $10.99 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold at the Stop & Shop located at 1221 Route 27 Franklin Township, NJ.

Thank you to all our supporters and community partners who purchased a bouquet in the month of January. To donate directly to our Kosher Food Pantries visit our website.
JFS is hiring part-time drivers to help transport senior adults, including Holocaust survivors, to medical appointments and agency events, as well as to help with Kosher Meals on Wheels deliveries.
