Our Busiest Stretch In RHTH History!
What an amazing start to 2016 it has been here at Restoring Hope Transplant House.  We started the new year with our busiest January ever in terms of overall guest room stays, followed it with our busiest February ever and this past March went into the record books as our busiest month ever!

We are so grateful to our ever expanding base of loyal RHTH alums as well as everyone at UW Hospital and the within the Transplant Program that have made such a huge difference these past few months in spreading the word about RHTH throughout the hospital and the transplant community.  Your efforts and kind words have obviously made a tremendous difference as we have now had 3 straight months of a mostly full house.

While it breaks our hearts to tell old friends we may be full the night of their check-up and it's always sad to have to turn away new families while at capacity, it is such a blessing that we have reached this point and have been able to sustain it for such a long stretch.  We are so grateful to everyone who has had a hand in making these very uplifting months possible - thank you!

Fundraiser Events & Donations Keep Our Doors Open To Transplant Families

As a non-profit in the midst of our busiest stretch ever, third party fundraisers and any and all contributions are extremely critical to help us cover our ongoing costs of running and maintaining Restoring Hope Transplant House to provide the home away from home that our guests need at this difficult time.  Your generosity allows us to focus as much of our time and compassion towards our transplant house family and helps ease some of the constant pressure of fundraising.

Events like the recent Spaghetti Dinner held in Monroe to honor the late Harris Gempler and support RHTH as well as the Middleton Lions Club Annual Cork and Cap Event really are appreciated.  We simply would not be able to keep our doors open without events and regular contributioins like these so we thank you for your continued support!

RHTH Alum Stars In New UW Health Transplant Commercial

What a surprise to see our very own RHTH Alum Terry of Appleton starring in a couple new UW Health Transplant Program commercials that appear to be airing now statewide.

Terry had a heart transplant a few years ago and just turned 70 years young not long ago.  It was great to host Terry and his wife Margie recently for his regular check-up and catch up with them and hear more about Terry's new acting fame.  Nice job, Terry!

On The Road Again: Meeting With Statewide Lions Clubs

As many of you know, our very own Middleton Lions Club has been a long time supporter of Restoring Hope Transplant House and our plans for further expansion and remodeling.  Their efforts have since drawn the attention and support of Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs throughout the state of Wisconsin and beyond.

Their joint contributions are in an escrow fund that will go entirely towards our expansion efforts.  In a time of now frequently turning away guests because we are regularly at capacity, we appreciate their efforts more than ever and encourage those clubs and other donors statewide to join their efforts so that we no longer have to turn away transplant families in their time of need.

This year, we have traveled all across the state to speak at various Lions Club functions in order to help spread our mission across Wisconsin.  Not only are we grateful for these opportunities and the financial contributions, but so are so many of our guests...like Molly:
