Alihan's is a family owned restaurant which brings the authentic taste of Turkey to Downtown. Alihan is not only the owner, but he is the head chef as well: using family recipes,  making sure all meals are prepared in a traditional way, from fresh ingredients, and of course, in healthy Mediterranean style.

Come to experience the hospitality of a Turkish family who welcomes every guest with a smile and cares of every customer's needs.
We are BYOB, so don't hesitate to bring a bottle of your favorite brand to accompany our fresh meals.

We are open every day from 11am-11pm , Fridays and Saturdays until midnight , serving lunch specials, dinner, and brunch on weekends. Also, we offer kids' specials, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free menus.

An enticing menu comprised of Vallozzi family traditions such as homemade pastas (including Helen's gnocchi) and the pizza that made them famous, as well as fresh steaks and seafood. The menu also boasts a number of Italian meats and cheeses flown in from Italy weekly and served from their 'Fresh Mozzarella' bar.

A Special Third Tuesday

A frequently asked question we hear at the Downtown CDC is "Do I have to live downtown to attend events?" Not at all. We believe downtown is a unique neighborhood and all roads lead here. So feel free to join us at all of our events.  Downtown CDC's Third Tuesday Happy Hour is at Vallozzi's on July 16th.

Special to this month, all attendees can enjoy the complimentary eats that the host restaurant provides. For July's Third Tuesday Happy Hour, Vallozzi's has decided that anyone who attends can partake in the bites made specially for Downtown CDC members. There will also be a free raffle for restaurant gift certificates and two tickets to Rock of Ages at the Benedum Theater.

Come and enjoy a summer party with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you.

Residents Pirates Night

What's better than to enjoy a summer evening outdoors with your friends and neighbors at a Pirates game? Not only are we lucky to have a stadium that most people think is the greatest ballpark in the world as our back yard, but our Pirates are contending for the Central Division crown.

The Downtown CDC Resident Ambassadors and the Pittsburgh Pirates are partnering at PNC Park on July 22nd for a ballgame against the rival St. Louis Cardinals.

Date/Time: Monday July 22nd, 7:05 PM
Opponent: St. Louis Cardinals
Cost: $29/ticket which includes $10 in food/beverage credit
Seat Location: Section 105

To order tickets, please call Kevin Roach in the Pirates Group Sales department. His number is 412-325-4797 and mention you're with the Downtown Residents group. Leave him a voicemail if he doesn't answer and he will call you back. We plan on meeting at 6:30 at the Miller Lite Crows Nest -- it's the outdoor section behind the Primanti's near section 110. It faces up to the river and has an outdoor bar and will be a nice gathering spot.
