MOVIE PREMIER - LAST OUNCE OF COURAGE

A Special Message from Jim and Shirley Dobson

Dear Friends,

Shirley and I would like to make you aware of a wonderful new movie called "The Last Ounce of Courage".  We were privileged to host a premier showing last weekend in Colorado Springs, and the response from the crowd was outstanding and very emotional.  The film depicts a patriotic story about a family that lost a son in Iraq, and the impact his heroic death had upon a small American town. Jesus Christ is honored like we have rarely seen Him in a movie, and its message of freedom and religious liberty will long be remembered.  We hope hundreds of thousands of God-fearing citizens will come out to see it NOW.

The Last Ounce opens this weekend in 1,400 theaters, which is a very large premier.  This is why we are writing to recommend that you see this movie in the next few days.  As you may know, films that begin with a splash usually go on to make a significant impact on the culture in subsequent weeks.  Those that fail to attract large crowds during the first weekend often disappear quickly.  That's why it would be extremely helpful if you and your friends will go to a theater near you in the next couple of days.  Tell your fellow church members about itand show up at the box office.

I believe you will enjoy and be touched by this film.  Pray that the Lord will use it help restore a country in moral decline.

Thank you,

Jim and Shirley Dobson

Inspired by Psalm 50:1-6, the National Day of Prayer (NDP) Task Force along with other national prayer ministries, has called a  Solemn Assembly in Washington D.C., to pray for all institutions of government in our nation's capital. Groups will gather for worship and prayer near the steps of the Capitol Building and the Washington Monument. They will meet with congressional leaders, travel to the Pentagon, the Supreme Court, and many other key locations to PRAY. This is not an assignment for the faint of heart. You will need walking shoes and clothing suitable for being on location and 'hitting the streets', regardless of weather.
