MESSAGE FROM MAYOR KLING

Christmas is a wonderful season of giving and hope. It’s a time many are thinking of local nonprofits and other ways to give. I’m so thankful we live in such a caring and generous community.

While the needs of every community are great, sometimes the greatest gift we can give is the gift of a smile or a simple act of kindness which costs us nothing. Calling a loved one or checking in on a homebound friend or relative...even smiling at a neighbor or being extra considerate and patient while driving...we can all do something in big or small ways to show love to one another.

This holiday season, let’s think of something we can all do…let’s be "Neighborly Nampa" and keep the gift of giving going forward -- no matter the season.

-Mayor Debbie

Congratulations to Brandon Crim with Centennial Golf Couse for receiving an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriotic Employer Award!

“Brandon Crim has offered complete support of my military commitments and service,” said the award nominator, Navy Chief Officer Sgt. 1st Class Weston Snyder. Weston was able to transition back from a year-long deployment smoothly and says it was “as if I had never been gone.”

Congratulations Brandon--and thank you, Weston Snyder, for your service during your one year deployment! We are excited to have you back on our courses!

SURVEY EXTENDED!

We are keeping the AARP Idaho survey open a little longer to try and reach our goal for 500 responses (we need about 250 more)!

Please help us reach our goal by taking this survey or sharing it with someone you know. One of the goals of the survey is to improve Nampa as a place to retire. If you are 45+ years of age please take a few minutes to take this survey and help us spread the word with others you know! Thank you!
