'Tis the Season!

Help keep families warm at our Winter Warmer Clothing Drive

Join us in making a difference this winter! Donate coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and more for women and children at our Winter Warmer Clothing Drive on December 9th, 10 AM - 1 PM at Woodcliff United Church. Your support ensures the women and children we serve have plenty of much-needed warm clothing to stay toasty during the winter months.

A Radiant Christmas

We're gearing up for a season of joy and camaraderie!

Our team is busy planning a delightful calendar of events for our residents, ensuring that this holiday season is filled with laughter and warmth.

This year, our residents are anticipating lots of fun-filled activities including the annual 'Spirit of Christmas' celebration sponsored by ConocoPhillips and the adorable 'Shop for Mama' and 'Shop for Kiddo' events, generously sponsored by First Alliance Church. We've also planned a festive Christmas party for the women and children, ensuring that no one feels alone during this special season.

Our dedicated staff aren't just orchestrating the events; they're joining in the fun with door decorating and ugly sweater contests, inspiring some friendly rivalry among the teams!

Change Someone's Life

One in Five Calgarians Need Us

More people seek charitable assistance due to increased cost of living

Currently, one in five (20%) Canadians are relying on charitable services to fulfill their essential needs. Among those seeking aid, a heartbreaking seven in ten (69%) confess that this is the first year they've found themselves in need of such support. More than half (54%) attribute this newfound reliance on charities to the ever-increasing cost of living.

Shockingly, domestic violence is the leading cause of homelessness for women.

We acknowledge that the affordability challenge has affected many within our supportive community. Thus, if individuals find themselves able to contribute, their support is particularly crucial this year. Now, more than ever, we need your support for the women

and children grappling with the surge in domestic violence in Calgary.
