The A.R. Gurney play "Love Letters" has been performed by hundreds of actors around the world since it debuted at New Haven's Long Wharf Theater in 1988. From Jason Robards to Kathleen Turner to Christopher Walken each has given their spin to this story - told completely in correspondence - of two people who meet when they are very young and then adore each other through almost a half century of wonderful highs and terrible lows.
