 SENIOR SHLC MEMBER RIDES We are looking for a volunteer who can pick up a senior for 9:30am Sunday morning worship services at SHLC from Providence Point and back. 

If this is something that you can help with starting immediately, please let the office know at worship@shlc.org as we have a senior who would love to attend church Sunday mornings!

Outdoor Worship & Picnic August 25th! 

We hope you can join us this year on Sunday, August 25^th with Grace Chinese Lutheran Church and several others at Ebright Creek Park in Sammamish. We will have an 10:00am Worship followed by a picnic lunch. Bring all your family and friends! This is always a wonderful opportunity to build relationships with our neighbors! Feel free to bring a chair or blanket to sit on during this outdoor worship.

Can you bring a food dish to the Ebright Park Worship Service August 25?

Join us Sunday, August 25^th at Ebright Creek Park in Sammamish for an 10:00am Worship followed by a potluck picnic lunch where we will be joined by other ELCA congregations. 



Can you sign-up to bring a Fruit, Hot Dish, Casserole, Main Dish or anything else to be shared? Simply reply to this email or email the church office at worship@shlc.org to let us know what you a bringing.

An SHLC Fall Fest in Carnation

We welcome all member(s), family and friends of all ages to join Sammamish Hills Lutheran Church for an evening of fun at our Fall Fest!!! 

$15 Tickets are available after worship on

Sundays and in the church office.

We will be arranging carpools to the vineyard from the church and if you are willing to carpool, please let us know at steph@aol.com.

Join us for our LAST FAITH ON FIRE SUNDAY August 18th 6-8pm

Please join us at SHLC at the Field of Faith for our LAST gathering around the fire sharing conversation about faith, share stories of the summer, and maybe even sing around the fire this summer. Invite your friends to join you! All ages welcome. You are invited to bring your own food and beverage (Water will be provided), bring a camp chair to sit around the fire ands ready to have fun. If you have a guitar, you are welcome to also bring that to share in song at the end of the evening.

Come for Clink!   Thank you to all of our Faith on Fire hosts this summer and to everyone who was able to join us for a summer gathering or a few! We look forward to more great summer gatherings next year but for now it is back to joining Pr. Dave and Pr. Nyla for Clink! as they gather opening up conversations over beer & fellowship again on Thursday, September 19^th at Big Block Brewery in Sammamish. We’ll see you there. There will be no Clink on 9/1.

During the summer we have met three Ebright Park in Sammamish with just 1 more Wednesday to play, meet new friends and see old friends. Join us for our last park day August 14.

WE HAVE Skyline Student Parking at SHLC

Our annual parking pass application is available. Go to www.shlc.org, find the “involved” tab and scroll down to “Skyline Student Parking”. The parking pass lottery will be for all completed applications dropped off to the church office August 5th-August 15th between 8:30am-12:00pm. Passes will be ready Monday, August 26th so you can PARK HERE THE 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL

SHLC is only offering an ANNUAL Parking Pass. Applications and all required documents including copies of Student’s Driver’s License or Drivers Permit, copy of each vehicle Insurance, and copy of each vehicle Registration, and $350 ANNUAL PARKING PASS Fee can be turned into the church office Monday-Thursday 8:30am-12pm. Make checks out to ‘Sammamish Hills Lutheran Church’, not SHLC. Parking is NOT available until/unless the student has a Semester parking pass. Metro spaces are not open for Skyline Students and risk being towed per signs on property.
