Opening New Doors for Lehman Students

With over 90 languages spoken on campus, Lehman is known for its rich cultural diversity. Now, Lehman is adding an entirely different kind of cultural experience as three new partnerships with institutions overseas will expand students’ options for study abroad, language immersion, and travel. NEH Fellow

Assistant Professor Benjamin Holtzman (History) was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities Faculty Fellowship for his project: Fighting the White Power Movement in the Late Twentieth Century. The fellowship will support research and a book examining American grassroots organizations that formed to challenge white nationalism in the late 1970s and 1980s.
