Our mission is to offer support to parents of NICU infants, individuals and their caregivers undergoing cancer treatment, and caregivers of individuals who are in intensive care units by providing convenient and free of cost lodging in a peaceful and restorative environment.

Happy Thanksgiving for All!

This Thanksgiving, we were especially thankful for our guests Roxanne and Kassandra! Roxanne and Kassandra are a mother-daughter duo caring for preemie twin boys in the neonatal intensive care unit. They have been staying at Home for Healing since September, and they decided to show their appreciation by cooking a full Thanksgiving meal for the rest of our guests. In addition to some sides and dessert made by volunteers and staff, they served turkey, ham, rum cake, some beautiful fruit trays, and more. We were truly blessed by their generosity and the ability to come together as a found family. We encourage you to watch the full story here.

Member Spotlight

We would like to introduce you to Becky Flynn, our Membership Vice President and avid Razorback Baseball fan. She is the Director of Development at the Women's Foundation of Arkansas and lives in Little Rock. Her philanthropic spirit is evident in her career choice, and we are so glad to have her on our team. While looking for a way to give back to her community, Becky--a breast cancer survivor--discovered the Home and "immediately knew I wanted to get involved." Becky joined The 4300 Club's inaugural board because she thought it would be a "great way to help the Home while also meeting other young professionals who are passionate about rolling up their sleeves and getting involved! I'm excited to see what the group can do as we continue to grow." You can join her at our 2nd annual Cookie Decorating Party, on December 21st. Woo Pig Sooie!

UAMS referred us to the Home for Healing during Rand's hospital stay in Little Rock.

This is an amazing place with amazing people.

We met many people in the two months we were there. Even through COVID-19 restrictions and taking all precautions; the guests were so kind and gracious while dealing with their own medical issues. We prayed together and shared our stories. We shared food and fellowship.

Thank you for joining us on Giving Tuesday for a day of awareness and meaning! Together, we raised over $8,000 to provide free-of-charge lodging for our guests, exceeding our goal of $7,500. That's $8,000 to help cancer patients access life-saving treatments, keep mothers and fathers close to their infants in the neonatal intensive care unit, and help families stay with their loved ones in the ICU after sudden injury or illness.
