ANNOUNCING OUR NEW CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Timothy Leaman, MD, succeeds Dr. Bryan Hollinger, MD, MPH as Chief Medical Officer

Esperanza Health Center is excited to announce that its very own Timothy Leaman, MD has been named EHC’s new Chief Medical Officer, following the retirement of Bryan Hollinger, MD, MPH, who held the position for over 21 years. Dr. Leaman, a life-long resident of Philadelphia, has served EHC for the past 20 years as a board-certified family medicine physician and Associate Medical Director, including the past 10 years as Site Medical Director for EHC’s Kensington site.

On Friday, January 14, 2022, Esperanza current and former staff, including Esperanza's founder Dr. Carolyn Klaus, gathered in socially distanced groups and over Zoom to celebrate Dr. Bryan Hollinger, MD, MPH, on his last day as Esperanza's Chief Medical Officer — a role he held for over twenty-one years. The hour-long devotional featured a time of prayer and thanksgiving for God's faithfulness throughout Bryan's career at Esperanza, heart-felt speeches from Bryan's closest colleagues, and a presentation of meaningful (and humorous) gifts to honor his retirement from the organization.
As Dr. Hollinger and his wife, Judy Hollinger, embark on a new season of ministry, we continue to pray and believe that the work of God will increase both through Bryan’s life and Esperanza Health Center. May we continue to praise God for Bryan’s incredible service and pray as we grow into this next season as a community of faith, hope and love.
