A MESSAGE THAT 
MUST BE HEARD

Recently there has been something on my mind that I feel strongly I need to share.  It is something I sincerely hope you listen to and take seriously.

Many people come to see me because they are in pain.  They want the pain to go away and have gotten injections or in some cases surgery to make it stop.

I understand Pain Sucks! But  it's important to recognize one important fact:

PAIN IS THE BODY'S VOICE

PAIN is trying to tell you something.   Often, it is SCREAMING to tell you something. 

This pain you are experiencing is most likely a SYMPTOM.  A symptom that your body is not functioning as it was intended. Pain rears its ugly head to tell you to STOP moving in ways that are creating wear and tear at a muscle or joint and START restoring better function and movement patterns. 

You cannot go out and buy a new body tomorrow like you can a house or a car.  This is the body you must live in for the rest of this life, so it's best to listen when it's sending you these important messages.  Do NOT ignore pain.  Listen and take action!  You have the power to restore function and live PAIN FREE when you take action.

Most of the pain symptoms we have can be fixed by restoring posture, alignment, joint mobility and movement patterns.  Sometimes, if we have ignored the pain for too long osteoarthritis or degeneration have set in and a hip replacement or knee replacement may be necessary, but hopefully you will take action and find help before degenerative changes get out of control.

Balance and alignment are the keys to maintaining function.  If you don't move enough, or move excessively on a body that's out of balance, dysfunction may rear its ugly head.  If you display any of the postural deviations below, it's probable your movement patterns have been compromised. Take action now BEFORE degenerative changes occur.
 


PAIN is your body's voice.  LISTEN to your body and take care of it while you have the chance.  You are being called to action.  What action is for you to discover, but I encourage you to explore.  The answers are out there and within your reach.  Get out and move, rest, rejuvenate or whatever speaks to finding your "balance".  Don't wait until it's too late and limitations are forced upon you.  Empower yourself NOW and begin the process of restoration and living a life without pain and limitation.
