Dear MSD Members:

We are pleased to share with you that the Medical Society of Delaware (MSD) recently completed development a three-year strategic plan (2023-2026). We are grateful to the many members and stakeholders who provided their valuable time and insightful guidance to participate in this important endeavor. All MSD members and their practice managers were invited to provide input into this process. Eleven members engaged in a personal conversation and an additional 131 individuals participated via an electronic survey. A strategic planning Steering Committee, comprised of 13 MSD members and staff, met regularly to help guide the planning process.

The plan has been reviewed and approved by the MSD Executive Board at its meeting that took place on September 21, 2023. To keep you informed, an executive summary is provided to outline the plan and detail the goals that will serve as our priorities going forward into 2026.

We can only achieve our mission, “to guide, serve and support Delaware physicians, promoting the practice and profession of medicine to enhance the health of our communities” with the support of individuals like you. As always, we are grateful for your membership and support of MSD. We look forward to sharing more with you about our achievements as we continue serving physicians and leading Delaware.
