California Leaders Reflect on Michele's Legacy

“Michele has been a champion for equal opportunity and quality education in California, helping Americans overcome barriers that too often prevent them from pursuing their passions and giving more Californians a chance at achieving the American Dream. I had the privilege of working with Michele as a California State Senator, when we teamed up to make transferring to and completing college an attainable reality for tens of thousands of students. Michele has led the Campaign for College Opportunity with passion and tenacity each and every day and leaves with an impeccable record of improving the education, the career prospects, and the lives of many California students.”
