After 38 years at Broadway Pediatrics Associates Dr. Harrison has retired. Here is a message from her in her own words:
To the wonderful families and friends of Broadway Pediatrics,
For the last five months, I have been undergoing treatment for metastatic melanoma. The side effects have been significant, and interfere with my properly continuing work. I have decided at this time to take permanent medical leave, in order to focus on my health and my family.
It has been a great honor for you to trust me with the care of your children over all of these years, both caring for their health and giving advice on the difficult job of parenting. The great joy of pediatrics is watching the children in the practice grow and thrive, and develop into wonderful adults. Thank you for trusting me to participate in this process with your children.
I know I am leaving you in good hands with Dr Schwartz, Dr Munteanu, and Dr Fallon.
Best wishes, and lots of love,
Mary Lee Harrison, MD
We all wish her a speedy recovery and will miss her expertise and compassion.
