Dear Barrington 220 community,
We recently had a situation involving Grove Avenue Elementary students where a video with inappropriate content was shared among the students on their district iPads. This occurred outside school hours. This situation was addressed with all of the students and families involved. You can learn more by reading this message sent to all Grove families.
I want to take this opportunity to remind our families about digital citizenship and how we can support our kids in making wise and healthy decisions with their devices, both in and out of school. Our students learn about internet responsibility as part of each school's curriculum and we ask that parents reinforce that message at home.
Our Department of Technology & Innovation has created many resources for families regarding the proper use of technology for students. Please take some time to review these resources.
