THE ART OF THE GARDEN.

An elegant recessed limestone spa environment with smooth bullnose coping and step landings; mosaic tiles; and, fire urns overlooking LA.

The client requested placing her initial "M" if possible, in bottom of pool or spa as a tile emblem. As the spa's mosaic glass tile water line tile concept was finalized it possessed a uniquely beautiful scroll design detail. To marry the two design elements, I carried a similar design feel to introduce a whimsical but subtle "M" initial in an inlay using a monotone copper color mosaic tile on the limestone spa deck.

The recessed primary entertainment limestone deck had a spectacular view of LA. For conformity I repeated the same essence as I implemented a scroll emblem pattern but inlayed with lush green faux grass. Was quite striking as it contrasted beautifully off the white limestone deck. It also aided in mitigating any glare.
