Highlights from the Holidays

|
Kent Denver School
held their 5th annual clothing drive and sorting party on November 16. The Sun Devils collected 217 bags of clothing, 127 pairs of shoes and almost 700 pairs of new socks and underwear. Special thanks to
Christina Caulkins
and
Sue Schimmel
for organizing the drive, and to the 30+ parent volunteers who sorted, counted, bagged and delivered the donations.

. We received a percentage of their third quarter sales, a donation of $5,106! Altar'd State is located on the first floor of
Cherry Creek Shopping Center

15th annual benefit brunch
supporting
Clothes To Kids

Kenya's Kidz
. Betsy's generous guests donated more than $2,200 in gift cards and checks, plus two SUV loads of clothing, shoes, new underwear and new socks.

collected coats and shoes for our shoppers at their Tennyson St. Holiday Rumpus & Market on December 18. Patrons who brought a coat or a pair of shoes received a $2.00 Core Pint - a great deal for a great cause!

Singers of the
Kantorei
choral ensemble collected nearly 1,000 pairs of new socks and underwear at their December concert series. It was one of the biggest Undie 500 collections of the season.

and the team at the
Infinity Marketing Group
threw a formal holiday party at the the EDGE Restaurant & Bar in the Four Seasons Hotel Denver on December 21 to raise money to buy items for Clothes To Kids shoppers. Top donors were invited to go on a coat and winter item shopping spree after the event.

Volunteers from
Kaiser Permanente
celebrated the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with us on January 15. Kaiser provided $2,500 toward supplies, clothing, shoes, socks and underwear along with many hours sorting, tagging, personal shopping and cleaning. Everyone at Clothes To Kids, especially our student shoppers, very much appreciates these gifts of time and funding.
