Living with Heart Failure

A Message from Rebecca Mountain DNP, RN

Many heart failure patients have cardiomyopathy or disease of the heart muscle. Over the next two months, there will be an opportunity to learn more about cardiomyopathy, patient resources, and support at our monthly virtual support group. Check out Support Group Update below for details.

Some people learn best by reading, others by listening. If you like to listen to learn, then podcasts may be for you. Podcasts are digital audio files that you can listen to online or download to your computer or mobile device. In this issue, access the Heart Failure Society of America’s podcasts to increase your knowledge about heart failure.  The more you know about heart failure, the better job you do taking care of it. This leads to feeling better, fewer hospitalizations, and a longer, fuller life.
