Abstract proposal submissions are now open for the 13th Annual Medical Education Day.

Proposals will be reviewed by the Medical Education Day Committee and decisions will be communicated in July. For any questions, please contact fame@northwestern.edu. 

Abstracts must be submitted TODAY, June 5 by 11:59pm for consideration. 

CME & CEU credit are available for After-TIME and the Educational Scholarship Session in June.

NUCATS Event - Navigating Conflict in the Mentor-Mentee Relationship

On June 14, NUCATS will hold its final session of the 2022-23 academic year Series on Developing and Enhancing Mentoring Relationships. The June session will be held on Zoom from 9:00 - 10:30 AM and is presented by Michael E. Roloff, PhD and FAME member Kenzie E. Cameron, PhD, MPH. Registration is required and the series is reserved for faculty only.

Brian Garibaldi, MD - Visit Reflection

On May 22 and 23, FAME hosted Brian Garibaldi, MD of Johns Hopkins University for two days of workshops, rounds, and a lecture all focused on the importance of the physical exam and using 5 and 10 minute moments to teach exam techniques. 23rd Annual MHPE Summer Conference - University of Illinois

On Thursday, July 27, 2023, the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine will host its 23rd Annual MHPE Summer Conference. The conference will feature a Keynote Lecture titled In Pursuit of Fairness: Overcoming Bias in Assessment by Karen Hauer, MD, PhD (UC San Francisco), an invited panel on Engaging and Collaborating with the ABMS/ACGME/AMA, and presentations and works in progress from UIC MHPE students and alumni.
