FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
This is my favorite time of the year as temperatures begin to cool down a bit and we head into fall. I enjoy watching God’s creation shed the years “stuff” so to speak as leaves change colors and begin to fall. Pumpkin spice everything!! Also, kiddos are getting ready for the new school season as teachers get their classrooms ready. Plus, OSU football season is right around the corner – GO BUCKS! All around this time of the year represents change, reflection and growth. Kingdom Pillars has definitely experienced all of that throughout spring and summer. The Strongtower women got jobs, finished high school, learned to drive and we had one graduate the program.
This past season was also a time of loss for many. On June 2, 2024 we lost and heaven gained our precious friend and KP Advisor Diane Holt surrounded by her husband, children and her sister. Diane and Joel have served faithfully on the Advisory team for two years. I ask that you keep her husband Joel and their five children in prayer.
Former Art Therapist Heather Reese made the decision to resign from her position at KP as her Mother’s health declined and to help her daughter through a difficult pregnancy. Heather’s Mother Carol Anne Thomas joined Diane on June 22, 2024. Please keep Heather and her entire family in prayer.
Former Board Vice President Pam Groomes also was led to resign from her position as her Mother’s health declined and quickly. Pam’s beautiful Mother Patricia McAlister passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024. Please keep Pam and her family in prayer as well.
Jay and I and our family got through the two-year anniversary of our son Jojo’s passing July 21st.
To all who have experienced loss we pray for you, we believe one day we will all be reunited and have one big reunion.
Psalm 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me
Blessings,
Darcey McCampbell
