A Message from our Executive Director
It's Fat Tuesday in our fair city, and we've been excited to share in the celebration all month at Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy! Our dedicated staff and delightful volunteers have our office spaces all decked out in Mardi Gras colors...there's even a fabulous Mardi Gras tree at our front door to delight our many patients and visitors!

This month we welcomed new Auburn University pharmacy student, Mary Elizabeth Crabtree, and we held a special 90th Birthday bash in-house for our dear friend and long-time volunteer, Nelson ___. We also premiered a lively new Winter 2020 Newsletter, developed by our new Development Coordinator, for which all of us at Ozanam want to express our sincere gratitude for your support! It is because of you that we are blessed to continue to serve our patients and remain a viable member of the Gulf Coast area's healthcare community.

Also, we're ramping-up for another exciting "Jazz & Cocktails: Rx For a Cause" fundraiser, so please plan to join us Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Heron Lakes Country Club for an exciting evening. Stay tuned for more information later this spring. Happy Mardi Gras from your friends at Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy...Laissez les bon temps rouler!!

Peace & blessings,

Shearie Archer

Volunteer Celebrates 90th Birthday at Ozanam
O n one cloudy February day, Ozanam 's offices were bright and cheery thanks to the presence of THE Mr. Nelson Summerlin, whom we invited to join us for a Happy 90th Birthday Celebration in his honor! Nelson faithfully served our organization as a volunteer for more than 11 years. He retired following 40+ years at the USPS, and he is a veteran of the Korean War. We at Ozanam are truly blessed to know and love Mr. Nelson Summerlin. We thank you for your outstanding service, and look forward to celebrating many more future birthdays!
