Koffi Bentum came to NYC from Ghana in 2011. Since arriving, he’s earned degrees from Queensborough, CUNY SLU and Baruch. Over time, he has focused his studies and career on serving those around him. He is currently a public engagement specialist for the NYC Mayor’s Office.

What is something tangible and specific you would advise a current student to do to help their professional growth?

“Keep a strong network with professors and fellow students. Network with speakers who come to your class to talk about various subjects. Make and manage time efficiently and effectively.”
