Booster Shots: Here's What you Need to Know:

Currently, COVID-19 Vaccine booster shots are only available for some Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine recipients.

Those include, people who have completed their initial series at least 6 months ago and are:

MCH continues to coordinate with NH State health officials to provide COVID-19 vaccinations & booster shots to patients in our Primary Care Practices. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.


Booster Shots vs. Additional Dose: What's the Difference?

A booster shot is administered when a person has completed their vaccine series and protection against the virus has decreased over time. Additional doses are administered to people with moderately to severely compromised immune systems. Click to learn more.

In Other News This Week

  • An FDA Advisory Committee voted unanimously to support the emergency use of a booster dose of Moderna’s COVID-19 Vaccine in the U.S. The FDA will take the recommendation into consideration in making a final decision on authorization. Stay tuned for more details.

Those without access to the internet, can call 2-1-1. COVID-19 support staff are available 6am-10pm, 7 days a week. Other services available through this line include:

  • Language Assistance
  • Special Accommodations
  • Help resolving error messages

Your best protection against COVID-19 is to get the vaccine, wear a mask, maintain social distancing, avoid crowds, and wash your hands frequently.
