With March comes spring, and with spring comes renewal and the desire to clear the clutter and make space for the new. Getting on the mat and creating mindful shapes with our body as we breathe, release and rejuvenate makes spring even better. We have three weeks before spring, and here at Beyond Yoga Studio & Wellness Centre, we have a variety of classes to make sure we enter this beautiful season feeling calm, energized and ready to release what needs to go and welcome the new!

Weekly Schedule

To get us started on the spring path, we're offering our Community Kirtan this Sunday, March 3 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. We would love for you to join us. No experience needed. There is no cost for this event, but we are accepting donations for Chrysalis House.

After 20 years as an administrative professional working in long-term care, I am thrilled to embark on a new journey as the Administration Manager at Beyond Yoga.


My first introduction to yoga began years ago when I started attending classes on my lunch breaks. Amidst my busy schedule, those serene moments on the mat allowed me to recharge and find balance. This experience ignited a passion for mind-body connection, leading me to spend a year as a certified Zumba instructor, further deepening my connection to movement and wellness as well as strengthening my leadership skills.


Now, as part of the dynamic team at Beyond Yoga, I am committed to ensuring smooth operations and fostering a welcoming environment where every member feels valued and supported. My goal is to combine my administrative skills with my passion for wellness to contribute to the Beyond community.

Want to get an edge on your golf game this spring?

Yoga for Golfers® is a dynamic, hand-on class designed to help improve your golf game by applying yoga-based physical and mental conditioning to the biomechanics of golf. Hit longer drives, improve your accuracy, and lower your score with a combination of strength, flexibility and breath awareness.


No yoga experience necessary! Please bring anything from a five iron to a seven iron to every class.

Start something new and experience the Power of Tai Chi (Meditation in Motion). Come to our Introduction to Tai Chi class and discover this unique mind-body connection. This class is a great way to experience a Tai Chi class before committing to the full series. Our six week series goes from Wednesdays, March 20 to April 24 (6 weeks) from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Our small group Hot Stone Restorative Yoga class is open to students of all levels and lineages of yoga with the intent of inducing deep relaxation and grounding.


This workshop will have the student moving in and out of three to four restorative poses, each held for long periods of time, using blankets, bolsters, and blocks. In every pose a minimum of three Hot Basalt stones will be gently placed on various parts of the body, including, hands, feet, stomach, spine and chest to further reduce tension from the body.


The benefits of hot stones are multiple and include stress reduction, increased blood flow, improved sleep and helps promote joint health. The weight and warmth of the stones combined with restorative postures and gentle hands-on massage will leave you feeling calm, grounded and peaceful, thus, encouraging overall health and wellness.


Space is limited to 4 participants so be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot.

Reiki is the universal life energy, called chi or prana, that exists in every living thing. As described in eastern healing practices like Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda, Reiki energy travels through meridians in our body, which are essentially veins but carry energy instead of blood. If the energy gets sluggish or stuck in our meridians, this can cause stagnation in our body and mind.


As a hands-on healing approach, Reiki gently allows for the distribution and integration of energy through these meridians to increase overall well-being. With a calming effect on the nervous system, research shows that Reiki can help reduce pain, stress and fatigue.
