we have a new home

In mid-August we received news that EV Performance Horses LLC Riding School - whose horses we have been using for our Veterans Programs since they acquired Drakestown Equestrian Riding School in 2021 - will be relocating to a new facility in Tewksbury Township, at

245A County Road 517, Califon, NJ.

Since we do not own any horses, we made the decision together to relocate with them. While we will dearly miss our rustic, renovated red barn and the exceptional serenity Drakestown Equestrian provided for 6 years, we do look forward to a new chapter, and we decided to GO GREEN!

We are grateful for an incredibly warm welcome from the new farm's owner, Marilyn, whose late husband was an Air Force Veteran.

We thank God for His provision and protection throughout this transition.

The Barn

We will be stationed in the barn (heated in winter), with extra conveniences like heat and airconditioning in our new meeting room, and an indoor restroom.

We will set up our Veterans room and new tack room in October.

Pastures & Arena

All the horses were moved without any problems on September 30. Even Lu, the barn cat, is settling in.

Indoor Arena

We look forward to sessions in the huge indoor arena

Outdoor & Dressage arenas & round pen

We are pleased to be able to have increased arena choices and a round pen for natural horsemanship sessions.

We say goodbye to the S.Sgt. Mike Moretti Stables

We celebrated 6 years at Drakestown Equestrian Farm together as a group over the past several weeks and processed the coming changes. This has been a potential outcome for several years, so while this is a painful transition for those of us who invested years into the renovation of the old barn and the creation of our own Veterans meeting area and rustic tack room, we rejoice in all we were able to accomplish and enjoy together, and we are ready for new and exciting opportunities.
