These are our 3x favorite scintillating Sauvignon Blancs from around the world.

We've yet to find anything better at their prices.

Warning: all are dangerously addicting

Cheers!

2020 Groth Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"Made with 17% Sémillon and fermented mainly in neutral oak barrels, this is a cohesive and succulent Sauvignon Blanc. It shows expressive layers of peach and pear alongside well-integrated acidity and a savory touch of brioche."

92 Points - Wine Spectator:
"Ripe, juicy flavors of peach, apricot and mango are fleshy and appealing, with terrific intensity on the finish, where matcha green tea, spice and tangerine notes linger. Drink now."

2019 Domaine Cailbourdin Pouilly-Fume "Les Cris" Loire Valley

The Wall Street Journal:
A French Sauvignon Blanc We Should Be Drinking More Often "Produced from vines on limestone soils by one of the region’s top producers, this is a terrifically zesty, mineral, stainless-steel-fermented Sauvignon with a pleasingly saline note on the finish."

92 Points Vinous:
"The 2019 Pouilly-Fumé Les Cris is all about its structure. Don't expect the usual aromatic descriptors; it’s textured, firm and powerful and requires more time in bottle, with its phenolics and acidity combining to grip the palate. There are aromas of flint and white talc from wild fermentation and a note of apple."

2021 Allan Scott Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

94 Points Sam Kim:
"Fresh and gorgeously lifted, the bouquet shows Granny Smith apple, rockmelon, fig and kaffir lime notes, leading to a powerfully expressed palate offering excellent varietal purity and persistency. Wonderfully flavoursome and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2024." (Aug 2021)

93 Points #1 Value of 2021 Wine Spectator:
"Strikes a terrific balance between mouthwatering acidity, fresh herbal notes of lemon verbena and thyme, and core flavors of key lime, meyer lemon, pineapple and tangerine. Gains momentum on the finish, where the flavors sing in harmony and complexity." -MaryAnn Worobiec (Nov 2021)

Bloomberg:
“This mouth-watering, fruit- and herb-driven white is a top example of New Zealand’s entry level ‘savvies,’ from the region that launched the style.”
