Senior Night Success: Presentation Available
The senior night was a full house last Thursday, August 29! Thank you to the AMHS counseling department for hosting such an informative session for families of 12th graders as they look to navigate their post high school options. Ms. Vallejo will share the slideshow from that event and it is a worthwhile endeavour for all of us at AMHS since we all play a role in our students' preparation and transition.
Class of 2025, if you missed Senior Night, please check out the Counseling Department's presentation here: https://sites.google.com/.../grade-level.../senior-page

Raptor Football Team Seeks Student A/V Volunteers
The AMHS Raptor football team is seeking talented students to form a dynamic audio/video team. We're looking for individuals with a keen eye for action and an interest in A/V technology:
Videographer: Capture the excitement of every play, from breathtaking touchdowns to inspiring highlights.
Audio Assistant: Assist the coaches with their in-game communication to help our Raptors play their best.
No experience necessary! It's rather simple and we'll teach you everything you need to know. If you're ready to take your media skills to the next level and be part of a winning team, we want to hear from you!
Students will receive service hours for their assistance and any student(s) that completes the 10-game season will receive a complimentary all-sports pass for Raptor Athletics.
Please contact Coach Knauer at raymond_knauer@charleston.k12.sc.us

This Week's Raptor Athlete-of-the-Week: Caroline Maiden '27 of Raptor Cheer.
In her nomination, Coach Ashley said, "Caroline shows up to every practice with a positive attitude and is always smiling. She is the definition of a team player and puts her team above herself. In challenging routine changes, she steps up where she is needed with enthusiasm. She demonstrates exceptional work ethic and goes above and beyond the expectations of her coaches by attending extra tumbling practices, showing up to practices (and extra practices) on time and staying after to help with clean up. Her positive attitude is contagious and she is so deserving of being the student-athlete of the week."
