84 year-olds have bucket lists, and you should have one too.  Last week, my mom celebrated her birthday and she has always wanted to see the big trees.  So, I stepped out of the office for a couple of days and we drove to see the sequoias in the Canyon of the Kings near Sequoia National Park.

• Entrance 1 was closed due to snow.
• Entrance 2 was closed to all but cars with snow chains.
• Entrance 3 was only open to trucks with 4-wheel drive.
• Entrance 4, the last one, was open, but 2 hours out of our way.
