Illinois teams took home 8 Regional titles at the US Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup that concluded yesterday in West Chester, OH. These 8 Regional Champs along with two other Illinois teams, that finished as Regional Finalists, will move on to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup July 7-11 in Wichita, KS.


Congratulations to the following Illinois teams that won the Midwest Presidents Cup:

  • Crystal Lake Force Elite: 14U Boys
  • Chicago Empire FC Gold: 14U Girls
  • Carol Stream Panthers SC: 15U Boys
  • FC-1 Academy Elite: 15U Girls (Defending Midwest & National Presidents Cup Champion)
  • Bolingbrook SC Raiders: 16U Boys
  • FC Stars: 16U Girls
  • Evolution SC: 18U Boys
  • Crystal Lake Force Elite: 19U Girls


Overall, Illinois teams put on an impressive performance at the Midwest Presidents Cup. Nineteen teams represented Illinois at the event, those teams accomplished the following:

  • 36 Wins - 16 Losses - 5 Draws in Group Play
  • 14 out of 19 teams advanced to semifinals
  • 10 teams advanced to the Championship match including an all Illinois Final in the 18U Boys Division which saw Evolution top Chicago Blues in a rematch of the state Presidents Cup final.


US Youth Soccer has expanded the field for the National Presidents Cup to included both the Regional Champions and Finalists so in addition to the 8 Midwest Champions from Illinois, Elite SC (17U Girls) and Chicago Blues (18U Boys) will also move on to represent Illinois and the Midwest at the National Presidents Cup next month.
