I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July!!! Please take a moment to thank God for the freedoms we are afforded in this country. It is easy, especially during an election year, to think of everything wrong with our country. However, please take a minute to be thankful for the many blessings God has bestowed on the USA!

July 6th & 7th

Father Paolo's last masses at St. Johns will be July 6th and 7th. He leaves the following week for his year in Italy. We will see him next July!!!

SJB Cheerleading

• Saint John the Baptist 2024-2025 Cheerleading is open for 5-8^th grade students.

• Beginning this year, cheerleaders will have Stunt and Tumble Practice, which begin mid-July on Mondays at Stealth Athletics 3:30-5:00.

• Once school begins there will be a second weekly practice that will occur from 3:00-4:30 after school (Day of the week TBD)

• Cheerleaders will cheer for both Football and Basketball Seasons.

•  If your child is interested, we will host an informational meeting on Tuesday July 2^nd at 5:30 in Ryder Hall (Church Basement).

3 Year Old Preschool Schedule Change

Due to Delayed Start Fridays, 3 year old Preschool students will come to school Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8AM - 11AM.

• UPDATE - NO MICROFIBER TOWELS NEEDED
• New this Year - You may purchase your family's copy paper on Eventlink.
• No need to lug the paper into school on verification day.
• We will collect the funds and purchase a pallet of paper from our supplier.
• If you would rather buy it yourself - please feel free. We just want to give you more options.

• You can drop your taxes off at the Providence House Monday - Thursday 9AM - 1PM
• If you have already dropped off your taxes, we will start sending emails asking you to come sign your School Choice Scholarship documents at your convenience.

Do you know someone that wants to be a Substitute Teacher at SJB?

We are in need of substitute teachers. In order to be a substitute, you must apply with the diocese and hold a valid substitute license from the state.

•  Licensed or Retired Teachers - $125 per Day/ $75 Half Day
• High School Diploma and Valid Substitute Permit - $100 per day/ $60 Half Day
