BRENDA JONES, PLEASE DON'T READ THIS NEXT ARTICLE! | |
We’re having a surprise “Tea Party”.
Our beloved, Brenda Jones, is moving and we want to celebrate her in a big way! On Sunday, July 7, after the 10am worship service, we are having an old fashion tea party, (no coffee that morning only hot and iced tea). This will be our last time to “pour” well wishes on Brenda as she is set to leave July 10th or 11th . Also, we want to shower her with cards. There will be a basket in the narthex starting June 23 or you could drop off at the office or send it to St. Luke’s, 2000 Shepherds Lane, Prescott, AZ 86301 Attn: Brenda Jones. Bonnie Burwell Pratscher (you tasted her amazing cakes on June 2nd) will be providing a variety of her soon to be cake, etc. business that I lovingly call “Love at First Bite”. We would love if you could provide a fruit or vegetable platter, maybe small sandwiches. This is not a potluck. Please make this a priority. Brenda, we will miss your beautiful smile and amazing hugs

Lights, Camera Action!
This Summer, we are updating our parish directory with photographs. No photos will be taken this weekend, but the adventure has already begun, and will continue again on June 22 and 23, so be sure to sign up for an appointment at the table in the Gathering Hall. We are also aware that not everyone may wish their photograph to be taken, and that is just fine. You have the right to tell us exactly what information you will want published in the parish directory. so stop by next weekend and talk with our team.

"We are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord-- for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we do have confidence, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. "
2 Corinthians 5:6-9
