5 Things To Try At Scrambled Cafe:
A New Black-Owned Restaurant in New Orleans
| |
| |
Food Blogger and Restaurant Content Creator @k.m.b.t.v Suggest 5 Popular Entrees and Refreshments To Try At New Neighborhood Restaurant “Scrambled.”
The restaurant opened its doors on Laurel Street in November of 2022, and the line to get a table has been out the door since. With everything being oversized and large portions, Head Chef Steven Green (pictured left) created Scrambled Cafe restaurant’s concept based on his childhood memories of being a kid, and later bonding with his son Kason Green.
Scrambled is a fast-casual Brunch Cafe, with an unorthodox breakfast being their specialty. They operate between the hours of 8:00 am - 2:00 pm on Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The 40-seat cafe is available by walk-ins only and operates on a first-come-first-served basis. In addition, to counter service, the entire menu is available for to-go/pick-up.
We highly recommend that you try the following, not necessarily in that order:
1. BBQ Shrimp & Grits
2. Chicken and Waffle Benedict
3. Waffle Praline Burger
4. Butterfly Lavender Tea
5. Expresso/ Coffee Options
