Google Fiber Construction Begins May 13th

Dear University Hills residents,

Google Fiber is coming to University Hills! For the next couple of months, there will be crews throughout the community installing your new fiber optic network. Construction is scheduled to begin on May 13, continuing through June (click map below). Crews will be microtrenching to lay fiber and installing equipment vaults behind sidewalks (perhaps in your yard). Vaults vary in size but are generally the size of typical utility and irrigation vaults. Crews will use colored paint to mark the location of the equipment vaults prior to installation. In some cases, installation will require the removal of turf and plant material. For questions, please contact the Google Construction Hotline at (877) 454-6959
