Invites You to "The Everyday Gift of Our Italian Heritage"

A Virtual Program with Raeleen D’Agostino Mautner, Ph.D

Thursday, August 15, 7 - 8 pm

The Dolce Vita Lifestyle:

The habit of savoring everyday pleasures.

Let's enrich our everyday experience with the traditions and cultural gifts of our Italian heritage! Based on the concepts of D'Agostino Mautner's latest book 45 Ways to Live Like an Italian, this program is a self-care approach using the wisdom of our Italian heritage.

Self-care habits have several well-defined benefits, including an increased sense of happiness. Being able to naturally harness the gift of our ancestors keeps us rooted in our authenticity.

The author will discuss the benefits of self-care in terms of Italian eating habits and rituals, how we spend our time, what we surround ourselves with, how we handle relationships, and how to enrich our overall lifestyles with an Italian touch. She will also include the wisdom of historic Italian role models, both men and women.

Raeleen D’Agostino Mautner, Ph.D. is the author of Living la Dolce Vita (Sourcebooks), Lemons into Limoncello (HCI Books) and 45 Ways to Live Like an Italian (Sourcebooks). She has

been a columnist for The Italian Tribune and America Oggi and has written Italian-themed articles for various publications. While teaching psychology at the University of New Haven, she produced and hosted a radio show, called The Italian Art of Living Well: a talk show that featured guests such as chef Lidia Bastianich, singer Micheal Castaldo, and attorney Ted Grippo.
