Tips for a Great Summer

ST. LUKE'S LUNCHEON IN HONOR OF

THE EPISCOPAL GENERAL CONVENTION

A free lunch will be served following the 10:00am service on Sunday, June 23, to celebrate the meeting of the Episcopal General Convention. come enjoy a great meal courtesy of Gary and Lyneal Nick, who will give a short talk on Convention happenings. Make plans to attend!

St. Luke’s is a drop-off location for the Diaper Drive.

There is a Large Cardboard box In the Gathering Hall for the collection of items.

Items collected: diapers, incontinence products, wipes, and feminine hygiene products.

Opened packages are accepted as items are repackaged in bundles of 24 for distribution through agencies.

There are many ways to get involved in ministry here at the church. Below are just come examples:

  • Administrative assistance with phones and odd jobs and especially projects!
  • Counting duties on Monday mornings and filing duties with the Finance Office
  • Commission Chairs needed for various ministries.
  • Commission members and volunteers (visit our website and see what's going on!)
  • Hospitality Service on Sunday mornings (sign up in the Gathering Hall)
  • Donate Altar Flowers on your birthday or other special occasion (sign up in the Gathering Hall)

Finding common ground has become difficult in today’s society, particularly in a political year. Learn about faithful approaches to dialogue in contentious political times with renowned journalist and Episcopalian Ray Suarez as we discuss “Civil Conversations in Uncivil Times”. A.C.E. classes meet on Sundays from 9:10am – 9:50am in the conference room (next to church office).

The Gathering: Body, Mind, Spirit

Exploring God’s Love


This spiritual summer retreat is for adults of all ages. It is a chance to unplug from the busyness of daily life and is a space to listen to God and to each other. Come relax, and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, meaningful conversations, and spiritual growth. 


This summer we will be using the book, The Way of Love by Scott Gunn as a guide. We are also excited to have, The Rev. Cn. Veronica Ritson as our presenter.
