Our Chief Executive Officer, Tim Veeck, participated in the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project on Monday, October 2 in Charlotte. This event draws national attention to the cuase of affordable homeownership.
Tim shared, “Amidst the backdrop of a local and national housing affordability crisis, the Carter Work Project provides the opportunity to demonstrate that another way is possible in relation to the creation of affordable homeownership.
Historically, the York County affiliate started 6 months after the last Carter Work Project came to Charlotte in 1987, so we recognize the significant ripple effects that occur regionally from this event and that’s why I’m participating in the 2023 Carter Work Project. We once again need the exposure this will bring locally and regionally so we can see ripples of change in York County that advance access to affordable homeownership and the opportunity for all communities to thrive.”
