We're ready for you!!
Over 90 artists! Bite sized, hand made prints from across the known universe have winged their way to Chicago, clothing the CPC walls in a visual celebration unprecedented in both scope and quality. Featuring the finest new work being done internationally and locally by CPC gallery artists, faculty, and studio members. Collect gorgeous, affordable prints to give as gifts or as a special treat for yourself. Prepare to be inspired. Bring your parents, children, friends, teachers, and favorite holiday sweater. It's basically the hottest spot on Western Avenue just north of the Lincoln/Western split in Lincoln Square. Looking forward to seeing you at our oasis of originality...!
The exhibition continually changes as we sell work from the wall and replace it with new, so you can be assured of new surprises with every visit. In the "gift" department we also have hand painted birds, artist-made cards, journals, tea towels and chocoIART (while supplies last!). It's everyone's favorite gifty print fest. Here's a wee teaser of some of the mini screenprints we have available from Jojo Kobe studio in Chiang Mai:

We're also featuring some new etchings by Ammarin Kuntawong, including this gem:
If you see work here that interests you, simply reach out and we'll hold it for you if it hasn't already sold!

Grabadolandia recap
We had a great time slinging etchings from our mini press at the National Museum of Mexican Art for the 11th iteration of the GRABADOLANDIA printmaking Festival, hosted by Instituto Gráfico de Chicago. Printmakers came from far and wide to celebrate all things inky at this family friendly event.

(originally sent on October 2)
The State of the Printshop
While the studio is in its prime, I have decided to begin the process of stepping away from directing the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative in order for the workshop to chart its future course with younger leadership. During this transition, beginning in January 2024, some of our programming will be paused, including classes and gallery exhibitions. Read on......

The response to this announcement has been overwhelmingly positive and beautiful. Thank you for your wonderful well wishes and thoughtful letters. Deborah will begin to follow up on all the proposals and inquiries in the next month, so please be patient. Who wants to run a print shop and chart the future course of a world renown studio? If you're that special person, please reach out!
