WORSHIP ORDER

There are currently no COVID precautions being followed. Individuals are encouraged to follow precautions that are best for them.

IT’S TIME TO ORDER POINSETTIAS! Please place your orders by December 7th so that a poinsettia can be placed in the sanctuary to honor your friends and loved ones. Order forms can be found in the Church Office, Atrium, or the Narthex.

DRIVE-THRU CAROLING

The youth of the church will be hosting a Drive-Thru Christmas Caroling on December 18th from 2-4 p.m. in the courtyard. If you would like to come sing, please arrive at 1:30 pm. We also need volunteers to transport some of our homebound members. Mark your calendars now and let Sarah Morgan know if you are willing to help!

We use The Wired Word – a weekly topical lesson that applies the Bible to “stories ripped from the headlines.”

OUR STEWARDSHIP PLEDGE PERIOD is a time when friends and members of our congregation are asked to prayerfully consider our response to God’s call for our church – and our response to God’s abundance in our lives. If you like to shop, this month (DECEMBER), the FISH Pantry mission is in special need of the following household and personal items:

* DEODORANT (especially urgent)

* DISH SOAP

* SHAMPOO

* BATH SOAP (BAR)

* TOILET PAPER

Our once-a-month FISH team receives phone call requests for food and these additional items; they are then sorted, packed, and delivered to each client's household.

All donations should be newly purchased, and any quantities would be greatly appreciated.

Feel free to contact Bonnie in the church office at bsmith@2ndpres.org or 865.523-2189, if you would like to drop off items at the church.

WE ASK YOU TO NOT DONATE FOOD (other than for pets).

Also, note that we have plenty of adult and children's diapers, so we do not need more of those items at this time.
