2nd Annual Howard Graff Memorial College Scholarship
We are delighted to announce the 2nd Annual Howard Graff Memorial College Scholarship, continuing to honor the enduring legacy of Brother Howard Graff. A stalwart philanthropist, family-man, and a dedicated member of Oriental 33, Brother Howard's contributions have left a lasting impact, both in the Masonic community and beyond.
As a past Grand Chancellor of the Grand Lodge of Illinois and a distinguished 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Brother Howard played a pivotal role in expanding DeMolay activities into the Balkans, helping to rebuild communities affected by conflict. His tenure as Chairman of Masonic Charities underscored his commitment to philanthropy and community service, making significant strides in fundraising and establishing global networks.
In tribute to his decades of service, the Village of Skokie, where he lived for over 60 years, commemorated October 19, 2016, as "Howard Graff Day." Despite numerous health challenges, his dedication to service never wavered, driven by a vision to enhance the world through education and understanding.
