Community Mosaic Project (Event 1 of 2)

Saturday, July 20, 2024 Add to Calendar

2:00PM – 4:30PM

Manning

Description

In partnership with DragonFLY Gallery and creative space, join the Manning branch in creating a mosaic art piece for Manning's outdoor space!

On Saturday, July 20th, DragonFLY's teaching artists will lead us through the design thinking process to help us envision and plan out what the project will look like.

The next week, on Saturday, July 27th, participants will take what they envisioned and bring it to life by creating a unique mosaic that reflects the West Haven community.

Snacks and guidance will be provided! All ages are welcome, but parents/guardians are advised to monitor children due to the potentially dangerous nature of working with glass.

Special thanks to the Chicago Public Library foundation for funding this project!
