MADDIE HANEY

19 Years Old

Started riding at age 6 starting in Pony Club.

Student at University Of Delaware

Currently riding with Stephie Baer & Bruce Davidson

Looking forward to moving up to Intermediate & 3* Level with her horse Charlotte whom she has produced.

DARIA PLOTZ

19 Years Old

Started her riding career with Pony Club

Student at Duke University

She is grateful for her catch rides that have helped her along the way to get to Novice Level.

Currently a working student with Alex Conrad.

MADDY NEWTON

19 Years Old

Born and raised in New Hampshire

4H played a crucial role in starting out her riding career.

After high school she went to be a working student for professionals such as Allison Springer & Alex Conrad.

Currently working with Bevin Dugan and leases 5* Event Veteran, Ashley McVaugh's upper level horse, Ace.

JARON BELMORE

Senior at St. Lawrence University

Just discovered a love of horses. Despite being hesitant to join the University's riding team but fell in love with being around the barn and the atmosphere.

Jaron is determined to strive for excellence and learn as much as possible.

LIA McCarthy


14 Years Old

Started riding right before her 8th birthday

Started out at Crislar Farm, then swapped to Twisdenwood when jumping peaked her interest.

Lia has competed in IEA shows for 3 years before winning the The Jeffie Foundation Class at the Myopia Show.

Lia is preparing to show at GMHA next week for the first time!

MADISON BLODGETT

Grantee Since 2023

Madison is currently focusing on bringing her young horse, Fen, up the levels. They have successfully conquered Training level and Madison is excited to tackle Modified this year.


CLAIRE EIANE

Grantee Since 2020

Claire is very excited to be a working student overseas in England.


Meaghan Nelson

Grantee Since 2023

Meaghan got a new horse, Leia, in January and is enjoying getting to know her.


HANNAH STEC

Grantee Since 2020

Hannah had an action packed competition season this winter in Aiken,South Carolina and now is enjoying her New England competition season before heading off to the University of Kentucky this fall.


DEVIN WALEGA

Grantee Since 2023

Devin is coming out of an educational winter in South Carolina and is excited to continue to apply everything she learned.

THE PINK PADDOCK EVENT

The Pink Paddock is where Jeffie worked during her years at Skidmore.

This artwork was created for Jeffie and a percentage of the day's sales was be donated to The Jeffie Foundation in honor of Jeffie Wilkins Chapin.

"It's an honor to remember her and contribute to her foundation."


The Jeffie Foundation is actively accepting applications from young riders in all areas of equestrian activities, including Eventing, Hunter-Jumper, Collegiate Competition, and horsemanship and training.
