The Town of Scituate’s Economic Development Commission (EDC) is excited to announce the launch of our 2024 State of Scituate Business Community Survey. We invite you to participate by accessing the survey at the following link: Scituate EDC Business Community Survey
What is the 2024 State of Scituate Business Community Survey?
The survey is a new initiative from the EDC to ensure that the priorities of the Scituate business community form the foundation of the EDC’s mission to enhance the existing business community, attract new customers, and attract new business to increase the Town’s overall economic health.
This year’s survey is organized across three themes:

Gaining insights into the current state of communications between our town and our business community;

Understanding the perception of our town’s brand; and
-
Assessing the needs, concerns and successes of our town’s business community.
Why participate?
Our goal is to ensure that your business can directly benefit from this survey. Your participation in this survey will help shape future prioritization and support from the EDC to enhance our local community and support our local businesses. Here are a few ways EDC will utilize the results in a way that you can see and use:

Share key insights with participants through a summary report and a presentation of results at an EDC meeting;

Utilize results to inform the creation of shared marketing resources to assist all stakeholders in our business community, starting with EDC commissioning a marketing strategy for the town; and
-
Coordinate with elected and town officials to address any gaps that may be revealed through the survey.
Another way to benefit directly? EDC will be randomly awarding two gift certificates to a Scituate restaurant of your choice to two participants! Surveys aren't fun, but food certainly is!
How to participate?
We anticipate this survey to take under 10 minutes to complete and your responses will remain anonymous and we kindly request surveys be submitted by or before July 1.
