Exciting new partnership with

Co-operators Young Leaders Award

We're thrilled to partner with the Co-operators Young Leaders Award (CYLA) to deliver co-op education to emerging leaders! A joint effort of Co-operators and Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada, CYLA is a 12-month leadership program that exposes young leaders to the Canadian co-operative movement and equips them with knowledge, skills and networks to make a lasting impact in their co-op, community and career. This year's cohort will join us for our pre-CMC Congress short course on co-op governance! CYLA has also launched an alumni bursary so that each year an alumni can enroll in our Certificate in Co-operative Management to further their co-operative education journey! We appreciate this partnership.

Meet Kirstie Boyette, Associate Director, Cooperative Development Foundation, and Graduate Diploma student

"My journey at [the Centre] began with a short course, then the Certificate program, and now the Graduate Diploma program. I found myself coming back year after year because of the high calibre of instruction, content, and support that I have received. The program has provided me with knowledge and tools that I have been able to apply almost immediately to my work in co-operative philanthropy, education, and development allowing me to contribute more deeply to my organizations with greater confidence. The program was the next step that I needed to reaffirm my commitment to incubate, replicate, and elevate co-operatives to build a more inclusive economy and future."
