Our H-F Park District Summer Camps offer the opportunity to make friends, learn new skills and grow as a person.

Summer camp brings children together in an environment that encourages a greater sense of community and appreciation for individual differences. Kids learn to become more self-reliant as they explore their interests and discover their strengths and weaknesses.

They also learn to interact with the world around them, resolve conflicts, build negotiating skills and relieve stress. Camp teaches the value of effort and helps kids believe in themselves as they overcome challenges with determination, patience and a drive to succeed. Learning new hobbies also teaches positive outlets to cope with life struggles.

The H-F Park District makes sure your child has a fun, active summer full of adventure and friends. Choose from all-day camps to sports camps to one-week long specialty camps at different locations around town including:

Stomping Grounds offers the classic summer camp experience with time at the pool, field trips, outdoors, hands-on activities and more.

Camp Discovery is the perfect introduction to summer camp for ages 3 to 5.

Nature Camp is an amazing adventure in the great outdoors!

Hobo Jungle has been a community favorite for kids to have a unique experience learning how to use basic carpentry tools (hammer and saw) while building full-size themed structures.

Sports Camps including tennis, golf, volleyball, Chicago White Sox baseball, flag football and more!
